Crafted with care in the Peruvian Andes, our blankets skillfully weave together silt-soft alpaca and Merino wool. The rugged terrain and climate of the Andes provide the perfect conditions for producing some of the finest wool globally, once cherished by the Incas. Alpaca fibers are smooth and straight, complemented by the naturally crimped texture of Merino wool that contributes to loftiness. Together, they form a blanket that is remarkably soft, beautifully thick, and wonderfully breathable.

Care Instructions:

To maintain the quality of your blanket, use a gentle liquid soap or a dedicated wool wash, avoiding bleach or enzymes—Outback Gold Wool Wash is recommended. Machine wash using cold water on a delicate cycle or hand wash gently. Avoid agitation and lay flat to dry; do not tumble dry. Dry cleaning is also an option.

Natural Aroma:

Both alpaca and Merino fibers possess distinct, natural aromas. Our blankets retain some of this scent due to minimal processing, but it will fade over time or can be refreshed using our Outback Gold Wool Spray.
